Most of the data is heads up digitized on the screen or is pulled in from other layers. The FIMT extension maintains coincidence between the Fire Polygon, Fire Perimeter, and the Assignment Breaks.

For more information on Fire Incident Mapping Tools (FIMT), please go to http://gis.nwcg.gov/ website and then choose the Tools menu option. There will be links there to the release letter, software installation file, user's guide, tutorial, and other useful information.
